Gaming on the Asus Eee 1000H

I previously mentioned that Chocolate Shake, my Asus Eee 1000h, shouldn’t be considered a gaming machine by any stretch of the imagination. On the other hand, it might be just the ticket for some older games from the era of much less powerful machines. So I dug out an old copy of one of my favorite games of yore: Call of Duty. This 5 year old game was a huge hit at the time of its release and it still plays very well today. I’m pleased to report that it runs superbly on Chocolate Shake. I played it for a few hours this weekend on the Eee 1000h and had a ball with it. I ran it at 800 X 600 resolution and the screen looked great. So if you have some old games like Call of Duty, Max Payne, or Medal of Honor kicking about then you may find that the Asus Eee 1000h, or any of the other very similar netbooks now available, can provide you with a very acceptable gaming platform.
